60 SECONDS OF MUSIC
The students used a Digital Audio Workstation to create 60 seconds of music. They used their own recordings, music, samplings or combinations of all three.
The students prepared short biographies of jazz musicians and composers. Most students used google slides.

The students composed their own blues melody. Using the notation program Flat.io they wrote out their melody. Then they orchestrated their own melody for a jazz combo. Some students recorded themselves playing their melody. Some projects also extracted the MIDI files of the combo version.

The students formed combos. Each group performed Red's Good Groove by Red Garland
This full big band chart has been recorded. It is currently being assembled in a DAW by a student and will be added when complete.
